DERMOREVITAL
Together we will
enjoy the summer
Whether you enjoy your sunny days at the seaside, in the garden or in the mountains, or simply visit solarium, you surely want to get the best tan. However, sunbathing is not just about “catching bronze”, it requires also proper care afterwards, especially in case of overexposure.
Summer is the time of sun and bathing. But our skin is exposed to considerable stress. It is affected by strong sun radiation and, if staying at the seaside, also sea salt and sand which tend to dry your skin out.

PROTECT YOURSELF FROM UV RADIATION
Advice on safe
sunbathing
For most of us, sunbathing is an agreeable activity, whether at the seaside, in the countryside or at the cottage. Unfortunately, sunbathing has also some negatives. Excessive sun exposure and insufficient skin protection against UV radiation can lead to sunburn damage and thus accelerated ageing of the skin.
-
SPF (Sun Protection Factor)
Always choose the protection factor according to the skin type and location. People with poor tanning ability should prefer a higher protection factor and after gradual adaptation can switch to a lower one. On the contrary, dark-skinned individuals with good tanning ability can directly choose sun products with lower factor. -
Sunbathing of children
Children have very delicate and sensitive skin, and this is why they should avoid sun exposure. If inevitable due to the situation, always choose the maximum protection factor. -
Limit sunbathing at noon
Not only at the seaside but also at the Czech pond or swimming pool, always respect summer siesta and try to rest now and then in the shade between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. In general, it is ideal to alternate shade and sun. This is the way how to prevent sunburns and decrease your body temperature. Do not worry, thanks to the high-quality products your skin will still get tanned and the bronze tan colour will last longer. It just needs a little patience. Never forget that you have healthy skin only once and you cannot buy a new one. The best is to apply a high-quality sun cream still at home to let it absorb well to your skin. Repeat the application approximately every two hours.
Protect yourself even if it is cloudy
90% of UV radiation can pass through clouds. If you think the sun is not shining and the sky is overcast, do not be mistaken and apply a product with protection factor. Otherwise, such situation can have unpleasant consequences.
Apply a cream, apply a cream, apply a cream!
Even with a lower factor, if you like, but more frequently. Remember that even a waterproof product has its limited durability, especially if mechanical abrasion can occur, for instance due to using a towel, turning on a deckchair or rubbing with clothes. Therefore, the product must be applied repeatedly.
UV reflections
Sand, snow or even grass reflect sun rays from the ground. Again, skin can be burnt, although it may seem there is no risk in the shade.
